River City Classic Pickleball Tournament - Brisbane Pickleball Club 25-26 June 2022

A HUGE congratulations to our members who competed in the River City Classic Pickleball Tournament run by the Brisbane Pickleball Club.

The Brisbane Pickleball Club’s River City Classic Pickleball tournament held over 25-26 June at the Shaw Park Tennis Centre.

This tournament saw around 120 players battle it out over 2 days in 19 different events. The weather was very kind, with bright, sunny days and only a very gentle breeze across the weekend.

Our members all played brilliantly, and achieved some great results. A summary of the results are following:

GOLD

Brian Krisanski - Any age Men's singles (3.5 division)

Brian Krisanski - 50+ Men's doubles (3.5 Advanced division)

Julie McGuire - 60+ mixed doubles (3.5 division)

Neill Stromborg - 60+ mixed doubles (3.5 division)

Di Cameron - 18+ mixed doubles (3.5 division)

Matt Scullion - 18+ mixed doubles (3.5 division)

SILVER

Julie McGuire - Any age Womens Doubles Skill (3.5 division)

Di Cameron - Any Womens Doubles Skill (3.5 division)
